Congratulations to Jessica Fields, who recently passed her dissertation defense. Great job, Dr. Fields! The title of her dissertation is “Birth Order and Gender: Differential Parental Investment in Medieval England and France in the Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Centuries”.  

Jessica’s committee consists of Dr. Lisa Sattenspiel (Co-chair, MU, Anthropology), Dr. Mary Shenk (Co-chair, Penn State), Dr. Todd VanPool (MU, Anthropology), Dr. Robert Walker (MU, Anthropology), and Dr. Lois Huneycutt (MU, History).
