Karthik Panchanathan, associate professor of anthropology, has won the Center for Public Anthropology's Franz Boas Global Citizenship Award. The award recognizes Panchanathan's participation in Public Anthropology's Community Action Online and his activities in the public sphere. Less than 1% of faculty who teach anthropology courses across North America receive this award.
