Libby Cowgill recently found out she was receiving not one but two major accolades. One piece of good news was the official verification that she is receiving NSF funding to pursue her latest research project, a collaboration with colleagues in Texas and Indiana. Then, during her 9 am Intro to Biological Anthropology class she was surprised by President Choi, Dean Okker, and several other people by the information that she was chosen to receive a Kemper Award for Outstanding Teaching, a highly prestigious award given each year to five faculty from throughout the campus. Congratulations, Libby!
